Strong demand for land
There has been an overwhelming response to Woolshed Grove, with hundreds submitting their expression of interest in the former Australian Woolshed site.
While many locals have registered their interest, there are also a number of people from other areas of Brisbane, interstate and even overseas who are keen to own a part of the northside’s most desirable bushland residential community.
Woolshed Grove is now in the final stages of council approval with blocks expected to be available for sale very soon. With interest so high, all prospective buyers will be treated equally and registrations are made strictly on a first served basis.
Something for everyone
Woolshed Grove represents one of the largest residential land releases within a 12.5 km radius of the Brisbane CBD in recent years.
Woolshed Grove Sales Director, Sergio Giavon, said Woolshed Grove has something to offer everyone.
“With parklands occupying almost half the site, every single resident will get to experience a natural environment and have access to huge acreage-style parks,†he said.
“There will be 62 residential homesites including small, medium and large size allotments. The proposed block sizes will range from 410 sqm to 1002 sqm and will be ready to be transformed into contemporary, stylish homes. Whether you’re searching for a smaller block suitable for an urban style of living, or you want the perfect family home with enough room for a pool and a spacious backyard, Woolshed Grove offers something for everyone.
“All this, coupled with Woolshed Grove’s easy access and premium location – 12.5 km from the heart of Brisbane – makes it a very desirable place to make your home.â€
Buy off the plan
BTS Properties has made the decision to sell off the plan once final council approval has been received, meaning you can feel assured that you have secured your piece of land at today’s prices. Buying off the plan will also give you time to sell your existing property and arrange appropriate finance.
Woolshed heritage lives on at local school
While the heritage of the Australian Woolshed will be maintained throughout Woolshed Grove, the structures that cannot be retained have already been relocated, with the Steiner School at Samford amongst those to find new uses for the old buildings. According to BTS Properties Director Sam Sciacca, the donation of the items keeps the memories of the Woolshed alive in the community.
“As well as being a practical addition to the school’s resources, the items give the children a tangible connection to their own local history,†he said.
“We’re delighted that as many of the original buildings, fittings and historical items as possible will be re-used or recycled in the community. It fits with our philosophy of a development which is in harmony with its local physical and social environment.â€
