TEN lots have already been sold at Woolshed Grove in Ferny Hills, a month ahead of the site's completion, proving demand is strong for quality residential land in Brisbane.
Woolshed Grove Sales Director, Sergio Giavon said lots had been purchased by a broad mix of people.
"Sales have been distributed between young families, empty nesters and a first home buyer, emphasising Woolshed Grove's broad market appeal," Mr Giavon said.
"Although the buyers represent different cross-sections of the community, they have all commented on the high quality construction of the site and can see significant capital has been invested to ensure Woolshed Grove has everything you would expect from an exclusive upmarket residential community."
"Buyers are looking for communities that offer something unique, which is why we have invested in delivering a nine hectare master planned environment of landscaped streetscapes, green spaces, quiet cul-de-sacs, picnic areas, extensive parkland and a vast choice of different block sizes to suit everybody's needs."
"Located in Ferny Hills, just 12.5 km direct from Brisbane's CBD and only a five minute walk to Ferny Grove station, Woolshed Grove is convenient while still offering a break from the hustle and bustle of inner city living," he said.
One of the first couples to purchase land, husband and wife team, Nicole and Scott of Ferny Hills, are now the proud owners of a 700 m² block that they will build their Plantation home on.
Nicole and Scott said they were really excited their dream to live at the former Australian Woolshed had finally come to fruition.
"When the Australian Woolshed closed down nearly four years ago and we heard the site was going to be developed into a housing estate, we were elated," Nicole said.
"We currently live in Ferny Hills with our two little boys, Hayden and Christian, and we really love the area's family feel and surrounding bushland."
"It's a great feeling to know we can continue to raise the boys in Ferny Hills and they can experience all the wonderful adventurous parts of growing up such as bushwalking and mountain bike riding."
"We've been visiting our block every weekend and the boys have been excited by the excavators and trucks. We're pumped to start building and can't wait to call Woolshed Grove home."
BMD Constructions have almost completed all aspects of the development including creation of home sites, roadworks, fencing and landscaping.
At completion, Woolshed Grove will include 62 lots ranging in size from 400m² to 1002m² with varied locations and outlooks and priced competitively from $320,000 to $395,000.
Previously home to the Australian Woolshed tourist attraction, Woolshed Grove represents one of the largest residential land releases within a 13 km radius of the Brisbane CBD in recent years.
